”Selecting a photographer that we trusted and who produced great pictures was one of the most important decisions in planning our big day. We knew we wanted to enjoy our wedding, spend lots of time with our guests but also have an album to treasure for life.
We had booked 29 for our full ceremony and were thrilled to discover that one of their recommended suppliers was Andy Taylor. We looked at his website and saw that his wedding pictures were amazing – striking, colourful and beautifully lit. After a meeting with Andy to review some of his storybooks and to discuss our respective styles and priorities, it was clear to us that we had found the right man for the job.
We decided to do an ‘engagement shoot’ with Andy about 6 months before the wedding, and it turned out to be an excellent investment. We had fun posing for pictures over a few hours in Glasgow city centre with Andy and assistant Chris, and we got a CD with all the pictures from the day. It was really useful for us to understand how Andy works, and to get used to being in front of the camera and having lots of people staring at us! We found Andy to be very patient, great fun, extremely talented at producing natural smiles and laughs at key moments, and above all, exceptionally creative. We felt like rock stars, and we love the photos from the day.
Andy worked with us to create a schedule for our wedding day well in advance. It’s a bit of a juggling act to ensure enough time to mingle with guests at the drinks reception, get formal group pictures, AND get some amazing bride and groom pictures too, but Andy worked with us to make sure we’d get exactly the images we wanted whilst still allowing us to get on with the important business of having fun and spending time with our friends and family.
The day went perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed getting our photos taken in and around the venue. Being piped up Royal Exchange Square with crowds of people clapping was one of the best moments of my life and Andy captured a phenomenal picture which instantly gives me that feeling every time I look at it! We had a ball posing for pictures, (even dancing in the middle of Buchanan Street!), and the results are better than we could ever have imagined. Because Andy put us at ease all our smiles were genuine, and we were always placed in comfortable positions which look natural but striking.
Our storybook is perfect, and everyone who’s seen it is blown away by the quality and the style. “Stunning”, is the only way to describe it. I simply cannot recommend Andy highly enough.”

”When my fiancé and I decided to elope in Scotland we knew that aside from the wedding itself nothing was going to be more important than capturing the memories from our special day. We searched for weeks and remotely interviewed tons of photographers from all over Scotland. There were many talents to choose from but only one stood above the rest. From the onset, working with Andy was a fantastic experience! His portfolio had the artistic flare and personal touch we were looking for, as well as the quality we expected from a professional. Coming from America to Scotland sight unseen was a huge leap of faith but Andy was receptive and engaging and I knew I was not going to be disappointed! The day prior to our wedding we met Andy face to face for the first time to go over the details of the day and any specific requests we may have.
Being the finicky bride I am, I had several requests and he was happy to accommodate them all! He even took the rest of the day to scout out the area to ensure we were taking advantage of every photo opportunity available!
The day of our wedding Andy arrived with his fantastic assistant Paula. They were warm, charming and a joy to work with. Not only did my husband and I have the best wedding imaginable, working with Andy made it a fun experience. The final product was amazing! I love showing off my wedding album and hearing my friends and family “ohhh” and “ahhh” over the marvelous photos Andy took of us!
Thank you Andy! Not only for the spectacular work but also for making our wedding a truly memorable and pleasurable experience!!”

” We first met Andy at a wedding fayre in Inverness and immediately liked him. He didn’t go for the hard sell and left us to peruse his samples at our leisure. After comparing prices of other photographers we felt Andy was good value and booked him for our wedding on the 4th June 2011.
We arranged to meet and discuss what we wanted and he just ticked all the boxes. We both wanted somebody we felt comfortable around on our big day and wouldn’t be too intrusive. On the day you wouldn’t have known he was there. He worked non stop all day, was really enthusiastic and put everyone at ease. After the wedding a few sample photos were put up within the week. All the photos were online 2 weeks after the wedding and we had our proofbook and CD 5 weeks after the wedding.
We are absolutely thrilled with the photos. They are just the right mix of formal, candid and artistic. We were so thrilled with everything. My sister was so impressed she booked him for her wedding in 2012.”

”We cannot thank or praise Andy enough for the quality of his service and photography. He took the time to listen to our ideas at the initial consultation and over the next year kept in touch with us so that he was fully up to speed with our latest plans and ideas. When the wedding day finally arrived we were completely confident that Andy knew the running schedule in more depth than we did!
He was a delight to have around on our wedding day. All of our friends and family commented on his relaxed and laid back manner. It also didn’t escape our notice that Andy stayed well past his bedtime to capture the dancing, following the late finish of our speeches.
However, what really makes Andy stand out from the crowd is his stunning photography and artistic eye. We are over the moon with the quality of our wedding album. Andy’s photography and design skills combined with the exceptional glossy quality and thick pages of the Storybook have meant that we have an amazing wedding album to cherish forever!
We would not hesitate to recommend Andy to any of our family and friends.”

”When choosing a photographer for our wedding, we really had no idea where to start. We met Andy at a Wedding Fair and compared to the other photographers his albums and photos were definitely in our opinion the best. His laid back approach came across straight away and we did not feel at all pressurised into any deal.
Andy makes the whole process very easy, a few months before out wedding day we arranged to meet Andy at our venue. Andy is based in Glasgow, our venue was a 4 hour drive from there. This consultation put our minds at ease when the big day was looming closer.
On the big day Andy had given us all a schedule and everyone knew where they should be and at what time. This made our day flow like clockwork and the photos highlight how much fun it was. Although very nervous and emotional we were both so delighted that Andy managed to capture our emotions.
Now that its all over our Wedding albums are one of our most prized possessions and we cannot thank Andy enough for all his hard work and beautiful photographs.”

“We chose Andy because we really liked how he works with colour to create some really vibrant and striking photos, and the flexible options for passing on the photos afterwards were really attractive because it meant we could easily share them with friends and family all around the world. Meeting Andy at the venue a month before the wedding was really helpful for shaping our plan for the photos and we were very glad he made the 2½ hour journey out to the West Coast to see us.
On the big day he was very accommodating and discreet, not bossy at all like we have seen with some photographers! He was very happy to work with our ideas and really gave the impression that he was there to do what we wanted, whilst coming up with some great ideas for unique and personal shots. We were very pleased when we received a wonderful set of photos a few weeks later, and very grateful to Andy for a beautiful record of our amazing wedding day.”
